Intake Coordinator and Pet Retention Specialist
Duties include coordinating animal intake appointments, participating in community outreach programs, maintaining the Bishop lost and found Facebook page, and managing the pet retention program. This position includes working weekends. Must
have an Associate's Degree or higher education; minimum 2 years experience in animal welfare; and must be computer literate and comfortable with social media.
Animal Care Specialist
Animal Care Specialists are responsible for cleaning animal habitats, bathing and feeding animals, participating in animal enrichment programs, match making animals with potential adopters and processing adoptions. The Animal Care position includes working weekends and holidays. Must have high school diploma or GED.
All positions are full time. All employees are eligible for health and dental benefits after 90 days. Bishop Animal Shelter is a drug-free workplace. A pre-employment drug test is required for all new hires.
