The Intake Coordinator is responsible for scheduling intakes and intake counseling. This position requires a highly organized and compassionate person to coordinate public intakes as well as intakes from transfer partners
all dependent on available space and medical needs. The Intake Coordinator is also responsible for overseeing Lost and Found.
Pay dependent on experience and education.
Veterinary Technicians are responsible for processing incoming animals (vaccinations, blood tests, etc.), maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting the vet during surgery. Veterinary Technicians must be able to work independently while maintaining communication with the vet. This position works on all of our open days. CVT preferred or minimum 2 years experience working as a tech.
Animal Care Specialist
Animal Care Specialists are responsible for cleaning animal habitats, bathing and feeding animals, participating in animal enrichment programs, match making animals with potential adopters and processing adoptions. The Animal Care position includes working weekends and holidays. Must have high school diploma or GED.
